Photographer's Note

A late afternoon scene at Phoum Kandal floating village on Tonle Sap river that keeps my shutters busy, awed in the face of this wonderful setting and those powerful clouds really looked spectacular to say the least. Needless to say, I geared up on turbo mode, composed my frame and shot. I used a medium grad ND filter to bring out the best of the puffs retaining just sufficient foreground detail.

This was an unpredictable weather that I'd always wanted to witness and in such surroundings, this'll be a hard memory to beat...

Setting: 21 mm, 1/125 sec, F11, ISO Raw 200, 1726 hrs, GND & Polarised

Spectacular composition before nightfall, these clouds that look so low are an attraction, while the clearer sky behind offers various shades of colors, the line of houses that seem anchored to the water, is the ideal complement.
