How gentle this Khmer girl's attitude toward the monks! I am very impressed with the way she bows. e. You can see her feet putting together very gently. The color of the embrallas is also interesting.

This is clearly the ceremony of Bindabaht, but the angle prevents us seeing the alms bowls. It's a nice idea but it's a pity that no faces are visible. If you had waited until the woman had finished her wai and lifted here head, it might have been more effective .also the detail in the background is in sharp focus and so distracts us from the main action. A note explaining about the ceremony or the situation in which you took the picture would have been nice too.However, a very pleasant picture

I think here its the fact that the girl is sandwiched between the two monks who dominate the photo in their bright orange garments. Her jesture of respect is the focal point of this scene, and with the two monks on both sides of her...helps bring a wonderful balance to this scene! Nicely done Sothy!!

Very interesting shot. Beautiful moment.
But to be honest, I am sorry that as a woman I cannot speak with monks, ask for their stories, give them donation. I respect other's religion and traditions, but anyway...
