Kaiyuan Temple Quanzhou

In China traditions create bonds - grandparents to Daughters and Granddaughters.

The smoke from the incents is a blessing - as grandmother is honored by her granddaughter.

The photo quality of my last two posts were of lower quality than I like and thus I removed them. I hope this one is better. I enjoyed my walkabouts in the small Chinese town of Quanzhou in SouthEast China. This temple was a very active one as is with smaller towns in China. I was blessed to live in China for many years and visit often smaller towns taking many walkabouts when time permitted.

Hello David, it is interesting to see how different traditions are continued.
I like the way that the smoke from the incense floats around their heads. No distractions, we can concentrate upon the three women. I guess that this was a spontaneous shot.
