Photographer's Note

The second of my photographs taken on a boat trip on a river in flood. The shooting conditions and the scanning resulted in the noisiest images I have ever had. Having experimented with Neat Image, particularly on this one, I decided that I preferred the 'originals'. I cropped, de-saturated and tweaked levels a bit.

The silhouette of the fishermen on the boat is excellent. The background (and the noise) helps me to focus more on the sharp silhouette. Well captured. Thank you for sharing it.

I kind of like the silhouette here. The grain is also adding a lot. Nice B&W.

I like the noisy background and I like the silhouettes very much. I like the right tree, which is bend by the wind. nice work with a lot of atmosphere, Martin.

A special pic. with this BW grainy touch. Also a special motive . as a total it gives an interesting composition with the trees in this strange place.
