Photographer's Note
In beijing the crowd is everywhere. But sometimes, not very often, you can see scenes like this. This is the summer palace, you can see one of its building in the background.

Love it Kourosh! Very nice play with tones and lines here...the graphism created by the typical arquitecture and the stairs is great. The boy positioning is great giving some scale and depth to the image..without him it would look a bit naked i think. Very well seen, good job :)

This is an excellent B&W shot. The person's expression really give this picture a deserted look.

Another great graphic one from you, Kourosh !
You play with patterns, light, and shadow and the result is really excellent.

There are more people that can be seen toward the top of the stairs, near the gate. Yes, this image has a resounding melancholy about it, which has permeated a few of the earlier images as well. Supposing that the world is being forsaken from behind the walls of this summer palace. A very good graphic composition, nice lines and shades and an excellent place for the figure underneath the heaviness of the ornamental gate and the stair corner.

Great shot, like the variety of lines in this shot, the man really adds to the shot. Very good POV. Well done Kourosh!

I like it as much as I liked your photograph "China".
Same composition here in what the position of the person is concerned. Same graphical element (horizontal lines). YOu add perspective in this shot, and therefore DOF. Very, very good. I would sharpen it a little bit, that's all.

This is brilliant, kourosh. Although it should be very nice in colors, you made a very good decision to post a b/w version. It works very very good here. The guy's position is excellent, as well as the contrast. Very good composition.

Another brilliant composition of yours, I would nitpick on the foreground stairs that are IMHO a little too proeminent, I think cropping them slightly (say two stairs)would balance the pic even more. But it's as I said a nitpick..
