The Ancient Town of Shuhe is located 4 kilometers to the northwest of the Ancient City of Lijiang. In 1997, the Ancient Town of Shuhe was ranked as an important part of the Ancient City of Lijiang which was already the World Cultural Heritage then by the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations. The Ancient Town is now a national AAAA level scenic spot and one of the National Key Protection Units of Cultural Relics.


people here who have home near walkway mostly make business like shop or restaurant.Look like they open and close late so we'll see some of them prepare food by washing everything in the water flow pass their home
the water very clear and look clean because they come from Jade dragon snow mountain near by.

in walkway we can see some people walking with their pets mostly are dogs and some are visitors who survey around the town like me

I went to look around the town from early morning till noon .feeling it still fresh,more space like vegetable farm in town ,not much dressing like Lijiang and local people still live here :)
