Another picture of the spectacular Pearl Shoal Falls in the beautiful region of Jiuzhaigou. This view is taken from in front of and below the falls and it appears as if the water is tumbling from the sky.

great shot, a truly magical place, maybe the water is over exposed in some places, but if your camera is anything like mine, trying to get over 1/000 exposure is very hard/near impossible!

Hi Jonathan - the water drops look amazing suspended in midair, I can never decide which type of waterfall shot I prefer, this kind and the longer exposure showing continuous flow work equally well for me, but here the details on the drops at bottom right are outstanding.

Great shot! stopping the action of the water. I would say overall it looks really good....Ya some small part of the water were overexposed but I guess it's very hard to avoid it since the sunlight is so strong...I would expect it.

Normally I like slow shutter speeds on waterfalls but on this one, the fast shutter makes the photo crisp and it is a nice affect.
