Photographer's Note
Very early in the morning on the shore of the West Lake. I loved the graceful movements of people of various shapes, sizes and ages - though, nearly twenty years on, some of them do not seem quite as old to me now!
I cropped; used Neat Image; converted to B&W; tweaked levels; sharpened; and cloned out some halo effects from sharpening.

Great Martin. Really like this silhouette. Very good with blach in front and tones of light grey in the background. Can't say what could be better.

Interesting as it brings my thinking in to these old shilouette paper clips that was popular before the photograph was invented.
Your choice of motive and composing of this shot is well done Martin.

Very interesting pose for this nice picture..Good cropping, even if I don't know what the pic was before.. It looks like a chinese doing gymnastic the morning...

I like this silhouette, your photo is charming and consisted well. I think that there is a method to return the completely white bottom of the image because the grey far off disturbs little, to my opinion. Anyway, excellent work.
J'aime cette silhouette, votre photo est charmante et bien composée. Je pense qu'il existe une méthode pour rendre le fond de l'image complètement blanc car le gris au loin dérange un peu, à mon avis. De toute façon, excellent travail.

Excellent silhouette Martin! Not only the person seems perfectly in balance, but the way you have framed this picture certainly resulted in a very balanced composition. I really like how the tree and the foreground works with the Tai Chi practiser. Brilliant work!

You did it again...another superb composition! I love how you created the silhoutte here. Also, you left in the perfect amount of background: just enough to spark some interest without being distracting.

A lot of work in this photo ("I cropped; used Neat Image; converted to B&W; tweaked levels; sharpened; and cloned out some halo effects from sharpening"): I like the idea of non retouching pic but... here we have
the black and white theater of serenity. Very very beautiful.

A very very good and intersting silhuette, Martin. A very impressive pause, well framed with the tree and the blurred lake at the background. Very very good job, Martin.

Very beautiful picture ! Although, maybe you oversharped the silhouette a bit, but well, that gives the photo it style.

So magic siluette, suspended on an eternal moment. Touching the silence of a new day.
Beutiful image, so good contrast, perfect exposure and composition, very good definition, really lovely!

I have to agree with ALL of the other critiques! Another thing to add is that the balance between the negative and positive space is just perfect!
This photo brings back memories and reminds me of my favourite movie - Karate Kid!
