Path of the Stars, a photo from Lautem, East

Back again!

This time a very long exposure: 17 minutes at f/8

The weather was perfect: full moon (thus the homogenous light), fast clouds, bright stars. I used a flash ligh to build the path of light and its projection on the ground, making a lead line the thirds of the picture and a complementary diagonal of white trail of water.

This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world: Jaco, in East-Timor. It takes hours hours of Jeep to get here, but it's worth it. Amazing blues and reef corals.

PS: I appologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine)

Wow. This long exposure is great at capuring the movement of the tourch and stars and for smoothing out the movement of the water.

Very smart to use the light. Due to the duration of the shot there is a very eerie sense in this picture. TFS.

Que fotografia louca!... e que ideia original!

A princípio até parece que é de dia, o que torna as estrelas ainda mais estranhas...

Gosto muito e está muito bem exposta (acertaste o tempo à 1ª ou foi por tentativas? ;-P)

P.S. Onde está a watermark? Procurei, procurei e não encontro...
