Konark Beach, a photo from Orissa, East

Photographer's Note

Beside temples, beaches in Orissa are other major attraction for its visitor. The region has long coastal belt extending up to 482km, treasuring some of the most exquisite white-fringed sand beaches in the world. The shimmering blue waters of Bay of Bengal pay tribute to their splendor.Puri is the major tourist destination of Orissa, thronged by numerous pilgrims makes one of the major religiously sacred beach side spots of India. This shot is taken from Konark beach closer to Puri but away from major tourist attractions therefore peaceful as suggested by the photo.

Hi Balwant, thanks for inviting me along to CCC this evening - most enjoyable. This would make a fine print and is well worth spending some time working on the original. The colours are nicely saturated & there is a strong diagonal element created by the POV. Excellent, Roberto

Nice perspective with the lines of the beach and the sea converging to one point. People add some good life to the shot and I like that you have chosen apanoramic format.
