Photographer's Note

Haunted House : This shot was taken at a recent visit to an amusement park known by the name name of Nicco Park and situated on the eastern fringes of the city near Salt lake city.The park was created to attract tourists to the state by providing family-friendly recreation as well as educative entertainment.Nicco Park has approximately thirty-five rides that include the Toy Train, Tilt-a-Whirl, Magic Carpet, Paddle Boat, Water Chute, Water Coaster, Flying Saucer, Pirate Ship, River Caves, Cyclone and Moonraker.In this shot you get to see what is known as the Haunted House and where you are greeted by eerie and terrifying sounds once you enter the house and the visual special effects give you the feeling that there are haunted souls all over the place and all these are meant to scare the daylights out of you. But I had a very humorous experience after getting to hear the womenfolks shrieking in fear of the unseen souls.

Only "hunted" for kids on the theme-park, Farhat, for us it looks as a marvelous shot with dusk almost prevailing.
Colors of the illuminations well collected, life has majic for the visitors here.

Hi Farhat,
My favourite of all the rides at a carnival is the ghost house or ghost train. I always get a good laugh out of them, either the cheap effects or the screams of others. They have captured the right colours and design for this house as well, nice spooky purple which is emphasised nicely by the perfect time of day you took this. Woooooo :)

Hi Farhat

A haunted house, it looks a bit like that, strange and not from this world, but it is in an amusement park, so it will put up a great show for the visitors. Some will belief it is real others will have fun when they see the believers react. Well selected POV with high sharpness. Pleasing light management. Well done

Do not worry for the time being I will continue to post new photographs to TE, except when I'm on the road travelling to shoot more photographs what I intend to do end of this week. I will be in Southern Thailand running away from the haze over Malaysia and trying to shoot water birds. I'm not sure how it will work out because I have some problems lately with my right knee, soft tissue problems to be exact, which is healing but it takes so much time.

Hello Farhat,

You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the attraction house named to Haunted House with light-up beautifully. It seems to the atchitecture with lovely shape a good design. It's impressive in which many visitors are gathering in front of this attraction house, too. I was confused when I first read your note, as I'm originally from Salt Lake City, Utah U.S. I had no idea there was a city in India with the same name. Fascinating! Makes me happy to share this commonality with you. :) Haunted houses are very popular in my hometown city, this is a real treat to see that same interest from the other side of the world. hehehehe this is fun. From your title, I expected a real haunted house, but am pleasantly surprised by the funfair version. A beautiful Blue Hour shot, my friend. Well exposed, sharp and saturated.
