Photographer's Note

Since the Vivekananda Bridge(which is parallel, the old one just right side of the new one,not shown in this photo ,check the previous one) was officially declared damaged and weak, the Government of West Bengal built a second bridge christened Nivedita Setu.
It is a speedy gateway into Kolkata from its northern borders. The bridge itself is a beauty having six lanes leading to an impressive toll way with 16 booths. Note that it will carry only road traffic; two-and three-wheelers are not allowed on the bridge.
The bridge has been constructed with short pylons that are in tune with the nearby Dakshineshwar Temple and do not dwarf the pilgrimage spot with its towering structure.
This shot was taken from the side of Dakhineswar.Hope you like it.

Note- There may be some problem as i had no chance to mount my camera on a tripod, hope this hand held shot can be excused.
