Back to the hills.
We were walking from Dowhill to Mongpoo.
On our way from Dawhill(6200ft) near Kurseong (4864ft) to Mongpoo (3759ft) we met the clouds just after Dawhill. It was about 11.00 hours.
Dawhill is a fantastic place just above Kurseong at a 20 minutes motor journey (abt5 kms, +1400ft). A girls school (about 80 years old) and a primary school (Davies' Primary School, telling the story since 100 years back) with a very small population forms Dawhill.

I like the way you managed to expose this shot, the trees and the cloud, all mix but maintain a 'right' exposure.

Hi Kausik-da,
cool photo with dreams of mist. The road, its
loneliness, the shady trees, attract me. I can not
differentiate who is more lonely, the solitary person, or, the place with lots of mystery.

Hi Kausik,
Excellent composition, so typical of the Darjeeling hills, the game of hide n seek between the sunshine and the mist. Here we can see both. This is perhaps an even better image than the one in your featured photo section, moreso because of that lone trekker. Perceptions may ofcourse differ.

This is interesting. Beautiful forrest and good quality in your image. I like lights and shadows and colours. I'm wondering- maybe will be better if you are been a bit closer?

A clear shot Kausik with a nice view in this forest with the mist and the sunny path curving away. That's fine, no doubt. Maybe if the person was put on a stronger point by closing in to him it could still benefit the tension in the shot ?

The view is great, I like the lonely figure against the mist and I like the road that leads directly into the woods.
Good frame. I think there's a little tilt towards the right.

You have captured a wonderful ambience! I really like the way you captured the mist and the sunny path bending towards the woods. Personally I would like the person with bright red coloured shirt not to be in the middle, but may be slightly off-center, may be somewhere near the bending of the path!
