Photographer's Note
Kolkata is burning now in sweltering heat with humidity touching 93%..
In this tremendous heat, I got this shot twodays back when the clouds closed in on Kolkata..This scene goes for all the people of Kolkata and also who has Kolkata in their hearts but staying away and have not experienced this ecstatic view in a long time..
The clouds were about to burst and the windspeed was in excess of 60kmph at the time I took this shot..It was around 1630 hrs and the sun was preparing to go down when suddenly the chill in the breeze came in and the clouds gathered..this is an amazing experience to see and feel...this is from the roof of my house in Kolkata and immediately after this shot it rained like crazy..spreading the sweet necter of happiness all over the place...the sweat was gone the body rejuvinated and the mind crefreshed with the sweet smell of wet humus...!!!
Enjoy..!!!!

Namaste Indranil. Absolutely stunning this shot of nature in rapid transition. The dark, heavy clouds look intimidating, yet the houses still illuminated by the setting sun don't seem to mind- still basking in the warmth. And soon, very soon it's all about to change. It's all there in this wonderful shot. Your notes makes me feel as if I was there.Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Indro,
Wonderful work. Really dramatic clouds. I like the light on the house in the right. Is it due to pp or this is something that we observe during the presence of stormy clouds partially in the sky? Anyway, this is a nice work.
Thanks for dedicating this to us!!
regards
Sayan

Amazing light ! I hope that the shower will have cooled the atmosphere, I have known your city in May and it was very hot and humid, so I understand what you are talking about.
Bravo, great shot,
Cath.

Hello Indro,
The other day, you were talking about Gurudev's song ; now here you presented us with just the same ambience in our own city, not in Khoai!
Great shot! This golden twilight(Godhuli-tai jodio narom shonay) and the enormous black cloud make all of our hearts wet, even before the rain comes!

Hi Indro,
What to say more about this picture? Extraordinary! The colours and light on buildings is superb.I remember, we were on YM and suddenly you told me to wait for 5 minutes. And I am happy that those 5 minutes were so memorable that produced such a great picture.
Great Work Done

Very dramatic sky well captured. Amazing light over the city. Just my usual comment -- why put a heavy black frame on it that overpowers the image? IMO, the black sky would be even more dramatic if it wasn't upstaged by the frame.
