Photographer's Note
This picture was shot at Mandarmoni, a small village of fishermen at the coast of Bay of Bengal in the state of West bengal ,India. This beach is famous for long stretch of golden sand and red crab.So it is gradually gaining popularity. So is mushrooming numbers of hotels and resorts. But unfortunately most of them has violated environmental guidelines and has become threat for the beach itself. Scientists have already identified that certain portion of the coast line has already been damaged.Tourism has although contributed to the local economy, but is claiming a heavy cost.
Local fishermen are at a perplexed condition as they are getting a little bit of positive result of tourism but are panicked to loose their livelihood as it is solely dependent on sea and the beach which is under threat itself.
Here one fisherman was coming back from hectic fishing all the day long carrying its net on his shoulder and keeping the setting sun at the background .

Hey Avishek,
It's always like that with tourism, cons and pros, and you can't do anything about that I suppose. The revenue generated by tourism is just too much of a temptation. The best one can hope for is that the money trickles down to those who need it most and that the environment doesent get too degraded by mass tourism.
A nice photo, a bit soft at the bottom and burnt, but still good colors and ambient. Thanks for showing.
Best regards
