Photographer's Note

This is Mukutmonipur in West Bengal. This lovely place is characterised by a dam on the river Kansabati, tribal villages and sparse forest lands. Other attractions include a dilapidated Jain Temple, a few rivers and rivulets, a Deer Park, Talberia Dam, Chendapahar forest area and a few view points at Rimil and Jhilimili. Its a lovely weekend destination from Kolkata. You can stay at the forest bungalows of West Bengal Forest Development (www.wbfdc.com)

Hi Arijit,

Found your gallery just now. Infact after seeing your critique. I find here some good sunset posts dazzling with the colours of the setting sun. This one is particularly wonderful. The colours are great. I think these are all scanned photos, using your Vivitar. But considering these as scanned ones, I would say these are really good, in a sense that there is not much effect of scanning in it.

Hi Arijit,
This is really good post.The left silhoutte is really wonderful.Im not sure though about the bottom part.The color is cool and well saturated.Apart from the left bottom darkness I like the POV.
