Photographer's Note
Whats so special about this picture?? Actually nothing. I just loved the sight of something living in this completely arid and barren area. We were on our way to Leh from Kargil, and after sometime, we'd landed up in an atmosphere like this-with huge barren mountains, rocky, dry and arid. I asked our driver to stop the car as i sighted this bush. It was off the road and had really pretty pink flowers. I couldn't really close in on the bush as there was loose gravel and I didn't even want to try and nearly take the last plunge. The only vegetation for the next hour and a half was this bush.
Tech: have done nothing at all.. have been told my post productions are over-done(and i agree). so i have left it for you people to do your workshops. :D

Even though there's nothing special about the picture (technically speaking), love the interpretation.
Thats what photography is about isn't it? :-)

I do think that this shot is rather special. It is nicely composed and it shows how a wonderful plant full of color can grow in the arid surroundings. This is probably a saleable shot for stock photography.
