I met this group of tourists in Nishat bagh, a Mughal garden in Srinagar. They had their own photographer. They agreed to pose for a picture. We were two taking this photo.

It's fun to watch, and it's a good memory for you, and since they are not your relatives or even really your friends, this doesn't break any TE rules. It's just a nice photo of local Indians, who were probably tourists just like you.

Interesting that this photo was taken 12 years ago, the children here are now young men with very different lives.

Hi Miguel,
I had noticed that people in India loved being photographed, and it seems to be the case with most of the men in this picture. But apparaently, it's not the case with the children !
Anyway, it's a good family portrait. And yes, Indians will travel and honour their country's heritage. Thanks for sharing, and A Happy New year to you and your family.
