Photographer's Note
On a very hot day, I went back to Amritsar after a wonderful week in the beautiful Spiti Valley. It was my second time in Amritsar and obviously the Golden Temple, and it was horribly hot. I didn't really enjoy it that time because in addition of having a hard time with the heat, I was also a bit sick, which obviously doesn't contribute to giving a good experience.
These locals were chillin' in the shade in this late afternoon. The feeling of spirituality stroke me just as much as last year, so did the kindness of the people. I went back to Amritsar because our plans to go from Delhi to Leh had burst into pieces and we wouldn't have had the time to go from Manali to Leh and back to Delhi, but it was a real pleasure to go back to the Temple (though the city is still as ugly as last year). I wouldn't mind going there again, but not in summer this time ;)

Hi Clement
Thanks for sharing this shot of the Golden Temple in Amritsar with us in TE. I have not been there for a long time, but as it looks it has not changed. Good to have these Sikhs sitting in the FG, what is boosting DOF. The only problem is the golden temple itself due to very bright sunlight. Perhaps you should consider to use a gradual gray filter next time. Otherwise sharpness and colors are perfect. Well done
Best regards
Urs
