Photographer's Note
This is the very place of the great congruence of the rivers Ganga (Ganges) and Yamuna at Allahabad, Uttarpradesh. The two rivers would have traveled about 1000 kms parallel to each other before merging together here. There is a clear distinction of the waters - Yamuna has a peaceful flow and Ganges is the rigorous one. Also known as Prayag to the Hindus, it is one of the holiest places of river worship. The Kumbh Mela festival that takes place every 12 years, is one of the most crowded spectacle in the world.

Hello Abhijith,
I traveled many times this place, very nice view of the confluence of holy river Ganga and Jamuna, nicely shot it in bright day light to capture the daily life activity of this holy place, good detailing.
