Hi Ram, beautifully shot - love how we can see down the alley towards the batsman. The lack of color brings out the roughness of the street scene as well I feel. Thanks for sharing!

Dear Ram,

I love your composition and POV here. The whole photo is very dynamic and makes a very good journalistic shot. I like how you included the motorbike, the passing guy on bike. You've also managed to capture the thrower in a very dynamic and decisive moment. Moreover, your use of sepia here fits this photo very well.

One thing... maybe you could write us something more about this "language situation" and love for cricket in India. I can get the point from your info, but I would like to know more.

Hi Ram, this beautifully shows the love of cricket in India and the willingness of the people to turn anywhere into a cricket field. But I hope the bowler modifies his action before he moves to Test cricket - his action looks a little 'suspect' (in the language of the ICC. . !). Perhaps the image is a little underexposed - maybe 1/3rd stop - and it might be worth bringing out more exposure in CS2. But very nice. Stephen
