This photo shows an outcoming wave on Agatti island, which is part of the Lakshadweep islands. The luminescent planctons accumulate in the wave. It really looks like science fiction. But it is real. :)

very interesting try to capture the magic. I have been fortunate to see it by my own eyes, which is an overwhelming eperience, but I had never the occasion to have such a high POV and witness a so large view on this phenomenon. Your choice of long exposition shows it as if it was the Milky way in the ocean!!!

Unbelievable Adam, simply unbelievable...! What a photo you've captured, it is indeed a very very rare photograph!
What a beautiful sight it must have been to see this for real, I wonder how did you get this elevated platform, were you standing on a rock?
