Photographer's Note

Baga beach contains rows of shacks and fishing boats, and at high tide the beach is narrow. There is a little chapel in the bg. The beach is named after the Baga creek, which empties into the Arabian sea at the north end of the beach. Baga beach is also famous for water sports, such as parasailing, banana rides, dolphin cruises. In Baga beach, new parking has been constructed for around 800 cars or more, and there is baga creek bridge which connects northern part like Arpora, Anjuna. Source : wiki

This one is an exceptional and beautiful picture, Miguel.
The pounding waves, the green forest, the colorful boats and the light-brown sand - all culminate to wonderful beach scenery.
Contrast, perfect light and fine clear visibility, the outcome is pleasant to look at.

Hello Miguel,
"800 cars or more" sounds just terrifying to me. Obviously you had chosen a time of the day, or the year, when the parking lot was not full. It looks like a very pristine and beautiful beach with less than an handful of persons minding the colourful boats. There is a very nice view along the splashing waves up to the small chapel and the green hill. The colours are very natural and attractive.

Hello Miguel,
Not exactly a crowded beach. Perhaps 2004 was still a good year to visit Goa. I have never been there but on my last trip to the south of India, Goa was discouraged to me because of too many tourists.
The colourful boats stand out beautifully against the green forested hills.
It looks like a very beautiful place at the coast.

Hi Miguel,

I would like to be there at the moment to escape winter, where morning temperatures are around 6c. An idyllic tropical beach with colourful fishing boats and good color saturation and sharpness. Tfs!
