In India this profession is very common, and often find people who practice it in the street. Usually those who practice this profession are men. Other trades such as tailor, cook, waiter, etc.... are practiced by men. In most cases, the woman takes care of the family or working in the fields.

a very nice reportage shot from the streets of Jaipur with the young man to has ironed the beside stack of the shirts.These kind of professions, are unknown in West.Excellent the light and the colour management.

A fine contribution to the theme of professions. The pink wall in the bg is really superb, I wonder if you considered using it as the only backdrop (without the street view) - it might have made an interesting alternative. Good job (yours, not sure about the ironing).

I like your shots from India. They give good perspective about daily life in India. Nice street life with this dhobhiwallah doing the ironing . Simple profession to make the daily living. Excellent composition.

E vero che in India, tanti mestieri sono riservati agli uomini!
Immagine interessante di questo uomo che stira camicie in strada con un ferro che sembra antico...dove essere anche molto pesante.
