Photographer's Note

Pushkar is the kind of town where you cannot walk more than a couple of steps without tripping over yet another exotic temple or colorful bathing ghat. A simple snap shot of colourful visitors relaxing by the ghat at the holy Pushkar lake - most famous as a major pilgrim centre for all devout Hindus to converge for a holy dip in the sacred lake to wash away the sins of a life time.

I watched them closely at 300 mm zoom lens until I felt the composition was right although the lighting was a bit harsh to my liking.

Setting: 300 mm, 1/1250 sec, F6.3, ISO Raw 200, 0725 hrs

Hello Abmdsudi,
The lighting is a little harsh but you have managed it to good effect. The composition is excellent with the couple nicely placed in the frame and the lady's sari providing a colourful focal point. Very good rendering of the colours and reflections.

J'aime beaucoup la construction de cette image même si elle semble prise sur le vif du moment. J'aime la belle diagonale dans l'image ainsi que le rendu des belles couleurs vives.
