the lake is situated, 11Km north west of ajmer, is a sanctified spot!!
it is situated, on the edge of thar desert, surounded by hills on three sides.
Lord Brahma was in search of suitable place for yagna!
it is a semicircular lake, max. depth is 10 m. there are 52 bathing ghats.
