Bangalore e' il centro del business IT in India. qui siamo all'interno di una delle sedi della societa' per cui lavoro, una delle tante corporates americane che hanno trasferito molti dei loro settori in India. Electronics City, una citta' all'interno della citta', raggruppa le maggiori societa' multinazionali e internazionali su una superficie vasta ed articolata. non solo uffici, ma case, negozi, alberghi... e tanti cantieri ancora aperti, segno della continua crescita di questa Silicon Valley indiana.
purtroppo non avevo la mia D80 con me, per cui ho scattato la foto con la D70 del mio collega. spero che il risultato vi piaccia lo stesso.

Electronics City, a city inside the town, is where most international corporates have their offices, having moved part of their business to India for obvious financial reasons. not only offices, but houses, apartments, hotels, shops and construction sites still in progress. the Indian Silicon Valley continues to grow.

A very well seen scene, a fantastic composition. I like the colours and the cubistic approach here. The inclusion of people makes it even better!

I like a lot the graphism brought by the geometry of the stairs. The lady in red at the left corner brings a great touch of vivid colour!

D70 o D80 tu riusciresti a fare una bella foto anche con una scatola di scarpe col buco! Qui non si tratta di macchina fotografica ma di predisposizione innata alla fotografia, alla composizione e all'uso dei colori. Pochi elementi, ma disposti in modo magistrale. Bravissima!

Hello Cristina, thats quite an interesting shot. B'ful blue and white color combination there.

For me, the highlight of the shot is the way you've divided it into two parts. Also, the people seen add a nice human element to this otherwise brilliant graphical shot.

This photo is very graphic with the colors of the walls and the walkers well visible against them. It makes me think about the picture on the aegypt temple, but in an indian version.

questa foto è veramente ben fatta, anche se io penso che altre tue foto meno di successo abbiano in realtà un quid in più. Qui ci sono molti elementi che attirano lo sguardo: i colori, la grafica, le geometrie... ma più di ogno altra cosa ritengo che sia l'introduzione di due punti fermi (l'uomo in cima alle scale e la donna in rosso) a fissare l'immagine e a renderla molto leggibile. Ma di queste cose bisognerebbe aver modo di parlarne più a lungo.

Ciao Cris...spero vi piaccia lo stesso?? e certo che ce piace, mica c'è bisogno di sperarlo, guarda qui che inquadratura di livello! Brava soprattutto a rubare la D70 al tuo collega, perchè questo colpo d'occhio meritava proprio una foto di questo tipo. Sembra un po' una sorta di scala sociale (ma spero non sia così) con il mondo moderno che sale la scala (in che senso, però? verso dove?) e la tradizione che cammina silenziosa e lineare (lineare??). Bravabravabrava, quasi quasi chiediamo al tuo boss di farti restare in India ancora un po' ;-)))))

That's a striking well balanced composition. I like very much the vivid colors and the sobriety of the graphism. The part that I find specially interesting is the left corner, with the boy and the girl at two different levels and walking at the opposite. And she is in red, while he is in blue; even the background is in a different color too. It could make an attractive picture if you could re-framed from the original photo just on the two of them. What do you think?

mi scuso per la latitanza. In parte è dovuta a lavoro fotografico che, fortunatamente, sta aumentando, in parte al fatto che obiettivamente, si perde troppo tempo a star dietro a questo sito...e ogni tanto si attraversano periodi di rifiuto a lasciarsi prendere dai commenti.
Ho riguardato le tue ultime foto e ho scelto questa, molto bella, per me, per la composizione, i colori e un minimo di storia. Ottimo lavoro.
Non significa che le altre non mi piacciano, quando troverò tempo ci tornerò sopra, prometto.

Hello Cristina,
This is a superb composition, so simple and so attractive. The dark window and doorway to the right are complemented by the draker blue rectangles to the left. There is also an interesting balance between the woman in red and the glimpse of a tree.
