Chandertal (Moon Lake) : Chandra Tal Lake is situated at a height of 4300 m and 6 kms away from the Kunzum Pass in Spiti and Lahaul district of Himachal Pradesh India.Boasting of a circumference of about 2.5 kms, the deep blue-water of Chandra Tal Lake is the source of the Chandra river.

Hi I had just come back from Chandertal (Moon Lake) , the whole tour was very good and I had some very different and good experiences, The lake is extremely beautiful , I like the shades and the turquoise color of the lake. As we know the whole place is quite desolate, almost moon like. In fact the whole valley is just amazing, the mountain, sand, silence, serenity . We also suffered AMS , I had headache and in night I was not able to sleep properly and in morning I felt nausea and vomited. After vomiting I was fine. I know AMS is due to at high altitude, but I think in my case it was also because we did not had a change to acclimatized as we traveled by car and did not take any long stoppage. I'll share more picture of this amazing palace's .
