Langar is the term used in the Sikh religion for free food, served in a Gurdwara. At the Langar, only vegetarian food is served to ensure that all people, regardless of their dietary restrictions, can eat as equals. Langar is open to Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike.

Moved by the faith in god, ladies doing there part of community service free of cost at Golden Temple, the holiest place for Sikhs. Participants for the preparation of Lanagar can also be anyone as can it be anyone to join to eat.
