Catherine Villa : My Official Residence during my seven months stay in Darjeeling was this Victorian style Bungalow on way to Jalapahar.This is the backside of the Bungalow.The glass house in the front use to house different kinds of flowers.Still have fond memories of sitting in the backyard over a morning cup of tea and reading the newspaper.

Good evening Farhat,
Besides the beautiful house on pic., there is a marvelous contrast between green and brown/pink pavement, tiles, stairs and roof, along with flower in red.
Lovely tidy-up villa.

Now Darjeeling seems to be a very colorful city as your series on the town proves beautifully. Strong and deep saturated colors that are real eye catching.

the difficult light of a rainy day do not avoid you to take this good photo, where you offers us the beauty of the simple but elegant bungalow, with its beautiful garden.
The wet ground and the vivid colors add a more graphical interest in your composition.

Hi Fahrat,
Another lovely British-styled house decorated in the Indian way, with lots of bright colours. I understand your nostalgia if you lived there for 7 months. It looks so peaceful !
There is a slight tilt of the house towards the left.
I had tried a WS to straighten it, but then it cut the nice stairs on the left and the brick border in the foreground.

This is a nice and peaceful place. The coloar are well saturated under a white sky and the villa is well framed by this high tree. A bit of tilt to the left.

So this was your "sweet home" for a while; lovely place indeed with lot of work growing greenery and flowers and few time left for a beer on patio!
I notice you crossed the verdant fence to give necessary depth to this colourful property!
