this is the back car(previously 2nd class) of the kolkata tram.the conductor is looking out in search of passengers to fill his car.

Hello Dwaipayan,
What surprises me is that anyone would have to look for passengers in Calcutta. I thought any kind of local transport would be filled up immediately. Maybe the metro has stolen passengers from the old and slow trams. But the emptiness gives us a good look of the unglamorous interior of this tram, and the conductor makes a delightful sight as he is standing in the light by the door. I really like this kind of plain but interesting shots of daily life,

Daily life shot depicting the situation in a public bus by concentrating on the prominent fig and the warm environment to attract her eyes. Anyway he makes this simple shot attractive and the bright color helps to emphasize this effect better. The exposure is good so balanced to outside condition. Excellent framing and placement, contrast and sharpness are good too. Well done.

Hello Dwaipayan - I like this DL shot. You've manged the tricky light quite well and the interior of the tram is quite intimately shown without the details of the exterior environment intruding. Little details like the fans add context and atmosphere. Very nice! Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Dwaipayan,
Another good portrait of transport staff. Your wide angle shot also shows well that very basic interior of this tram. Not crowded at the moment but I could guess that would change soon.

I like this natural candid feel, there is something always interesting in moments on transport. The rustic feel and colours work so well in this light.
