Mountain Hut : In this shot you can see a very simple hut at a height of 14000 feet near Baba Mandir in East Sikkim.This place is very close to the Indo-China Border and located in a hard to live terrain.Baba Mandir is a temple in memory of a serviceman of the Indian Army.
According to legend, Major Harbhajan Singh drowned in a glacier following the 1962 Sino-Indian War in 1968 while escorting a column of mules to a remote outpost.He later, through a dream, instructed one of his colleagues to build and maintain a shrine after him.The Baba Mandir is a popular tourist spot in this region.

Good evening Farhat,
Strong daylight show details very well, but a bit exposed. What possible to do before taking this is to switch the exposure-bias -1/3 to lessen this effect.
Altogether, spotted nicely and sharp image.

Hi Farhat,

You're capturing well this mountain hut by a good composition and excellent clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the hut with green roof/door and brown wall. It seems to better structure for people living at highland, although it's simple. And, it's impressive in the surrounding rocks, too.

Hi Farhat,
A very cute photo, with a nice contrast between light teal of the corrugated metal and the earth tones of everything else. The facade of the hut facing the sun looks a little overexposed, but that is understandable.

PS. I am not so sure about the color of the sky in Hoyt Center for the Arts, but that seemed the best setting for the HDR process.

Absolutely love the rustic textures and the colors presented here...even the blue tint from the shaded areas has made for another intriguing layer to this photo. Looks like this hut is ready for anything--it does look very durable but I don't know about the altitude that's enough to give me nosebleed. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.

this mountain hut is an interesting makeshift construction that looks humble but must be extremely useful in a rugged and inhospitable environment like this seems to be. I like the comprehensive point of view and the framing in which the hut fits perfectly. The very sharp textures, the strong bright colours and the bluish tint of the shadows create a graphical effect. A very intriguing subject. Congratulations and thank you!

That is a mountain hut, it really looks like one. But you do need a luxury palace high up in the mountain, you just need a shelter. Well done
