True Lovers : This shot of a young couple was taken at the early hours of a winter morning in late december last year on Lovers Lane near Darjeeling Mall.They were looking at the mighty Kanchenjunga and probably renewing their love vows keeping the majestic mountain as a witness.A great morning it was and a great view of the lofty mountians too.Hope you like the true lovers that we all are and if we are not confident enough to admit that would just want to be like this happy couple silhoutted in this shot.

When you write young, you must have seen them, but the sport, Lovers Lane is perfect when you are in love. Good silhouettes viewing the snow capped Himalayas. Well done

Hi Farhat,

Lovely early morning image of this young couple - I would like to believe that all couples are happy - sadly not the case - values seem to have changed so much - equality is putting woman on the same level as men & in a relationship I think to achieve harmony it has to come from being able to compromise & have trust & faith in each others choices.
Anyway - a subject that can be very controversial so I will stop right here.

it is more beautiful in b/w, the image is more tense and represents lovely the title..two shadows...two lovers front of a majestic mountain...confident and true about their love...extraordinary picture, honest note!

this picture may be romantic. The couple are sharing a moment, an experience, a conversation. We don't know what it is about and searching the silhouettes for clues is intriguing. I like the placement of the couple in your composition and how the man is leaning towards the woman. I also like how well defined the dark silhouettes are against the vast, soft background and how the majestic mountain range rises above them. A very attractive image, congratulations and thank you!

What I really like about this image is the way the tones fade from black in the Fg all the way back to white in the mountains create a layered sense of depth. Very well done.

Farhat. I visited Darjeeling in 2000 to photograph the mountains at dawn. Luck plays a big part here in hoping that the weather stays clear so you can see the mountains. You picture is well composed with the two people in silhouette that really makes this image. The use of B&W also adds to the atmosphere. Also the fence across the bottom third of the picture given it a good base and adds overall balance.

Cold morning picture, farhat, but well paid-off effort.
The two youngsters silhouettes well placed on pic. allow a fine view of the "rising" mountains from the valley bellow.
Decided to a B&W post, gave good outlines in the mild light conditions.

You're capturing well this lovely scene by a good composition, a good focus and excellent B/W tone, so it's impressive to see this love couple with silhouette, the some layers oh mountain and mountain ridgeline with the snow in back. And, it's effective for the geometrical pattern of fence.
