An Evening in Calcutta - VI : This is the sixth image from this new series. In this shot you can see another young couple sitting next to each other in front of a memorial named in honor of the Anglo-Indian scholar and mint assayer James Prinsep on Prinsep Ghat, overlooked by magnificent Vidyasagar Setu,the latest bridge connecting Calcutta and its twin city,Howrah across the river Ganga.

Prinsep Ghat is one of the oldest recreational spots of Calcutta and people come here in evenings on weekends to have stroll along the bank, with many food-stalls selling variety of road-side foods. There also is an more than 40 year old ice-cream cum fast-food joint on the ghat, which is popular among the crowds, especially the youngsters. People can also have a ride in the river on the boats.
