The Day Labourer : The Day Labourer is a man in Calcutta,who puts in great physical efforts to earn his daily wage,which can be as little as 100 rupees or 2 dollars per day.They are mostly employed to carry articles or parcels having heavy weight.Here you can see a day labourer ,who is probably carrying a large room carpet on his head in central Calcutta,going for delivery at a customer's residence.Hope you like this image too.

Hi Farhat,
Excellent snapshot, superb arrangement with the man in foreground and the yellow taxis in background. I feel pity for people like him. I was very often confronted with scenes like this and have still big problem to accept it, so little money for hard work. I believe that there is not big change during last 30 years, period when I regularly visited your country.
But the photo is perfect. As I said longer time ago, your photo skill improved in excellent way. Bravo!!!

Hello Farhat,

You're capturing well this daily life by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see a Day Labourer who is shouldering the heavy carpet in the street. It looks like a hard work. And, it's also impressive in yellow taxi and shopping mall of both side.

Hello Farhat,
A fine daily life capture featuring this day labourer with his heavy load. Apart from him, there are lot of other interesting things to see in this well presented image. Putting the main subject in the middle of the frame does bot always make for a strong composition but here it does when combined with the rest of the scene.
