avant d'ouvrir je me suis dit: que 500 photos et tous ces points????( ça m'a attiré car je viens aussi de poster ma 500 eme mais total et mon nombre de points est miserable!)
ça me rassure un peu que c'est 500 d'Inde: je n'y suis pas encore allée ;-) ;-)
Avec toutes vos photos cette destination me tente de plus en plus (peut-ete le Ladakh...) pfff c'est sur de choisir une prochaine destination;-)
merci en tout cas pour toutes ces merveilles et celle-là n'echappe pas à la regle....des couleurs magnifiques, un instant de vie si bien saisi...

Many congratulations on your 500th post from my country. Not just the quantity but the quality is what I like about your India gallery. You have covered almost all genre of photography while covering India be it landscapes, portraits, daily life, street, historical monuments. I hope you come to India again and share with us more such wonderful captures.
Your 500th post from India is no exception..fabulous DL shot of these veiled Rajasthani women busy in household work. I like the contrast of their bright red attire with the white walls. Very well taken and thanks as always.

My regards to your #500 from India. That is an impressive number I will never reach, having made only one "digital journey" to India out of more than a dozen, meaning I don't have enough pictures to choose from. Two women dressed in red saris and veils, preparing food in very graphically "clean" surroundings are an appropriate photo for this jubilee.

Hi Patric,
500 photos on TE from 8 journeys to India, that is impressive! I think i have only 20 pictures at home from 1 visit to India(1989)The new digital era is good in many ways. Photography has become very inexpensive after the investment of a camerakit. The quality is getting better and better, just remember the poor quality for about 10-12 years back in time. But still the artistic is most important.
I like your beautiful picture here. Both women seems to be very relaxed and not disturbed about your presence and captured in their own environment. Beautiful colors and light, an excellent contribution to TE, tfs!

You've chosen a great one to celebrate with, showing these two women veiled and at work, standing out brightly against a dull backdrop. The woman on the left is covered but we still see her face. I always admire Indian woman, they are so elegant, not important what they are doing.

Une belle image de l'Inde que l'on aime et qui semble éternelle.Tu attises mon envie d'y retourner.Pour qui aime la couleur,ce pas est un paradis.
Les indiens définissent eux mêmes leur pays comme étant le pays des couleurs.
La composition est parfaite et tu es parvenu à saisir un moment de vie quotidienne de grande intimité avec cette préparation du repas.Les teintes sont très vives et la netteté parfaite.
Belle 500 ème.

Une version indienne de Top chef ? ;) Une très belle photo en tout cas pour cette 500ème dédiée à l'Inde, pays qui t'a sans doute le plus marqué. J'aime beaucoup l'effet de symétrie inversée de ces femmes vêtues de leur sari coloré, toujours impeccable quelles que soient les tâches qu'elles accomplissent. Cadrage impeccable et excellente maîtrise des contrastes de lumière font de cette image une très belle réussite. Bravo !

The colours are so India! striking red against the pale blue background, the women so elegantly poised on their spotlessly clean but so simple kitchen. Its these simple scenes that keeps me returning to India also.

Mi piace in maniera particolare la composizione che contrappone alle due figure in rosso uno sfondo dai colori delicati che ne esalta le figure.

Hello Patrick - Having never been to India I always enjoy your photographs from the culturally diverse and colourful land. This shot from Rajasthan is lovely, the simple everyday chores are elevated into something quite wonderful thanks to the rich red clothing of the woman. I'd love to know how the woman remain so poised and attractive when doing chores!

for obvious reasons the red colors stand out very well here against the white bright backdrop.

India must be filled with these types of scenes.

tu as prises plus de photos à l'Inde qu'à ton pays, la France, et c'est étonnant et peu usuel.
Je pense que ce lointain pays t'a fasciné, et grâce à ça, nous pouvons jouir tes belles photos.
Comme celle-ci, où tu as captée une scène familiale et quotidienne, fraîche et vitale, avec les deux femmes et leurs saris d'une couleur rouge intense, en atteignant un haut niveau chromatique et une image très puissante.
