Photographer's Note
ladakh means land of high passes. the roads on one hand pass through high and few of the highest motorable roads in the world. while on the other hand there are places and areas and patches where it runs on flat PLAINS with straight roads.

Hi A,
Lovely photo with a composition well balanced between mountains and blue sky with few white clouds, good light and effect for depth with this road well taken in the FG.

Hello Dwaipayan,
nice the view of this almost arid place with the road to adds depth and perspective in the scene lead-in the eye to the massive Mts on the backdrop. The blue sky enhanced the details as the clarity of the image.Well done.

Bonjour Dwaipayan,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition car elle raconte une histoire. Une chevauchée mécanique dans un paysage à couper le souffle et quel ciel!
Amicalement

Hello Dwaipayan,
Some stretches of roads I have travelled in Ladakh were the most terrifying I have seen, and they were anyway main roads, but this looks safe, at least for the time being. Who knows what will happen after it gets among those mountains. It's a fine view with great colours, and the clouds are nicely gathered inside the triangle created by the diagonal hillsides.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Dwaipayan,
I have always liked empty looking desert views. No doubt this is somewhere very high up on the mountains. Sidelight makes strong contrasts. Empty road creates strong perspective.

Hello Dwaipan,
The road at right adds good lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective. A marvellous blue sky indicative of the high altitude. Perhaps a slight rotation to the left? The clouds are well positioned over the vanishing point. Tfs.

Hi Dwaipayan
so this is what I missed by not driving up north?
I like how the mountains overlap eachother in this scene, and they each have different color shades.
really enjoy these rustic scenes from Northern India.
cheers

Namaskar dear Dwaipayan
That seems like a very long and lonely road. The desolation is so beautiful yet so dangerous I am sure, if you get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful colours, perspective and depth. A lovely sight indeed, and so unspoiled.
Warmest wishes
Lisa
