Photographer's Note

Cobbler, cobbler, mend my shoe. Get it done by half past two. An English nursery rhyme. A customer watches intently as the cobbler repairs his shoes. The cobbler surrounded by his tools of the trade, an anvil and pieces of leather sits in a classic position using his feet as grips. We can see by the cross he wears he is a Christian, as are many Indian cobblers, Hindus would rather not work with leather.
