Photographer's Note

I was just looking into my archive...

Being a person of Indian origin sometimes doesn't really help to get 'unnoticed' when i try to take a photo. People get suspicious that i might be from a newspaper or so.. They also ask what I will do with the photos? etc..
Of course it also advantageous to be able to speak the language and communicate with them...

This group of people were auto-rickshaw drivers outside the Madurai train station chatting while waiting for customers.

Quite bored apparently they were start calling me 'Hey Mister' the moment they saw me with my camera, probably hoping that they could have a conversation with me...

However that evening I wans't really in a mood for a conversation and walked on my way admiring the beautiful light that was on that day....
