Photographer's Note
Most of photos I know about Barong Dance are still, with no sense of motion. By using a slow shutter speed and a 2nd curtain flash, I tried to capture the energy of it, bluring some parts but keeping others, namely the face, in aparent focus. This is far more complicated to achieve than a pin sharp photo, but, as I see it, it gives a whole new dimension of this amazing dance. I hope you enjoy.
PS: If you wish, you can see my blog for more photos using this kind of combination of slow shutter speed and 2nd curtain flash

You bet I enjoy it, geez those eyes, feels like they are drilling in my heart, don't know if I am looking at a painting, dancing or a sculpture.
Interesting and well done.
