RE-POST
Looking back my very earlier shot on TE and I decide to re-post this picture. I found some lack of sharpness on my original as Pat's critiques.
This re-post picture has added some sharpness, abit brighness and automatic correction (sony). Not too much changes than my original but I hope you can enjoy this new version.
Location :
Taman Safari Indonesia (Safari Park) a real window to nature, featuring wild animals roaming in their area. In Taman Safari visitors will observe exotic and rare animals from their cars or buses. Located in the hilly side of Cisarua (near puncak highland) at Bogor West Java. To the side it's only take two hours from Jakarta by car or bus.
Photo notes :
The bird usually call as Macaw (Ara Ararauna), a large colorful parrot. They are native South America, from East Panama and west Equador, Venezuela to Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and South Argentine. Macaw's habitat are in the rain forest, high palm trees and arround the swamp along the river. Macaw's status almost threatened gone.
I took this picture in mid day when the visitors were wacthing this beautiful giant parrots. I like the situation and their colorful bodies and hope you will like it too.
have a nice day

Hello Daniel,
Three colourful fellows seem to be occupied with a serious discussion on some important birdie matter!
Well framed with good details in the plumage, wish I had birds like this around my place too...!
Greetings,

Hi Daniel,
Very nicely captured, those 3 colourful little fellows. Beautifully composed and technically spotless.
I looked at the original and I don't find it bad, but surely this one is much better. Why is it that all of us evolve so much when participate in TE for a while? :-)
I wonder the name Macaw has anything to do with the former Portuguese colony of Macao, now returned to China.
Regards, José.
