Each morning, balinese hindus people make offerings to their deities, flowers and incense, a tradition among this island.
A photo that begins a series on Bali and Indonesia where I come ... delighted.

Hello Jean,

Though I have never been to Bali, this is the impression that I have of the island, happy people, warm sunshine and exotic plants. Maybe it's a throw back to 'South Pacific', the first musical I ever saw.
It's a very well composed photograph, the pretty lady perfectly placed, movement across the frame and a b/g which is informative but unobtrusive.
I like how the light catches her face, accentuating her features by way of highlights and shadows.

Hello Jean,

Perfect use of a shallow dof. The selective focus has been put on the fg woman to emphasise and isolate the subject. Good shadow detail on the Balinese woman's face. Tfs!

although the girl's face is half in the shade, you've achieved consistent clarity and her pleasant attitude comes through. I also like the colours and details of the offerings so close to her delighted face. The girl and the offerings stand out effectively against the slightly blurred but comprehensive setting.
