PLAYING WITH THE WIND, a photo from Bali, Nusa Tenggara

Photographer's Note

I took this photo at sanur beach..
There were 2 persons was playing with the wind.. they played with their traditional fan (propeller) to produce a "strange" sound.. especialy when the wind blows very fast..
I took it a few moment after the sunset.. As I really love silhouette, so I combined the silhouette of these 2 men with the sunset colours in the background..

Note : I added the colour balance with PS7.

Yes, wonderful silhouettes. Interesting instruments. I was at Sanur last April but didn't see this. Probably there wasn't enough wind. Regards, Huub

Simply stunning! Love the composition and the deep orange colour, and the fact that the two persons are not just merely darker, but really silhouettes. Very nice!

Very, very lovely shot. There are tones of shots about sunsets on TE, but this is a great way to take it in the frame! Silhouettes and orange sky produce great atmosphere. Composition also is well thought, wide orange sky and up-looking people. Well done!

Wonderful colors in a very peacefull composition. The colors of the sky are the highlight of the composition, even the silhouettes are great. I like the blurred effect on the instruments.

J'adore ces silhouettes. Au début j'ai cru que c'était des archers, car je ne connais pas cet instrument que tu décris dans ta note. Le dégradé de jaune-orange est très beau.

Excellent color of the sky supported with those beautiful silhouettes. The red color of the fans is appealing to the eye. And the placing of the figures is amazing. As if they posed to you. Nice black frame too.
