Silver sunrise, a photo from Jawa Tengah, Java

Photographer's Note

To get the best from an excursion to the famous Dieng Plateau (in Central Java), you have to start your trip about an hour before the sunrise from the town of Wonosovo. This way you can make a stop to an observation post above the Dieng Valley and see the sunrise (the golden sunrise they call it the locals). Then you can continue until Dieng Plateau at 2093 m and enjoy the second sunrise in the same day (the locals call it the silver sunrise. Here you can see the silver sunrise. Lots of other things to do at Dieng Plateau, but we 'll talk about them some other time.

Early at the morning when light is going on. Absolut fine sun ray with activate dust.
That brick-path is also inspire to get pictures at easy way ;-) Only wake up at morning.

Un disparo muy difícil de conseguir debido a la dureza de la luz en este momento del amanecer.
Has conseguido un gran equilibrio con la iluminación y buenos colores, con los tonos dorados que toma el campo con los rayos del sol.

A good, evocative shot. The shadows are nicely captured and the contrast adds drama to the shot. Shooting into the sun is always difficult and you have gained a little underexposure but the effect works quite well here. Good composition too.

One of your best photographs to me! I missed this one. I wonder how you have captured this! The sun beams are so discretely visible, the darkness in the composition is giving it a dramatic feeling. The golden field, the fence, the thin brick road everything is superbly captured.

I like that ! How this picture could be so mysterious, this blend of fog, light and also colors in the same picture, quite impressive ambiance. The exposition is well done, great job. Just a small point concerning the ratio, perhaps something like 14:9 would give some large landscape feelings than the 4:3.

Great photo!
I just love the soft light you've captured here..what a scene! The path and the fence in the composition are very effective. Diagonal huh?! :) Great!
They catch my attention and invite me to walk down the path..go around the corner..to get..where ?
As said, the light is brilliant, every piece of grass catches a ray of light. The myst above the field is majestic. I also like the darkness of this photo, it gives a great atmosphere and that's what I like a lot in this photo, the atmosphere.
