This operation is special event for weekend in Apri~Octber. Of course usual SL operation was already finished more than 40 years ago. Once upon a time I was so crazy mania for SL. I remember I started with photography from shotting SL at a school age.

Great capture of this train with very nice perspective, and the smoke gives a very interesting atmosphere to the image! The people by the windows give more life and interest to the scene! Very good job!

Bonjour Takero,

Je n'ai pas très bien compris ce que tu voulais dire avec SL, mais je m'en doute un petit peu. Le train nous offre son mouvement ainsi que sa fumée dans cette très belle composition.

Hi Takero,
That locomotive loooks very big on Japanese narrow gauge rails. Good action with all the steam and smoke blowing. And excellent exposure on difficult light as there are so many black ditails and the bright sky in background. I'd love to see a side view to get better idea of machine details.

Nothing like an iron horse & the feel of good old days ride routing around the stations that goes with steam & smoke! The strong green colour breaker really zings
as this makes it real special as it helps the eye to hang on firmly there. This well taken from a fine view point aided by good clarity, framing and contrast. Excellent snap.

I also love the old steam locomotives. They were bad for the environment but so charming. Delightful picture. Great even masterfully shown.
