Two priests at Fushimi Imari, a photo from Kyoto, Kinki

Photographer's Note

A complement to yesterday's picture of two Geishas, this one was taken at Fushimi Imari temple, which I had reached by train, somewhere south of Kyoto: At the time I had my 24-120 mm which got wet inside because of heavy rain which did not stop the whole day.
A had a tripod attached to the camera in one hand and the umbrella in the other one, but nevertheless got a lot of rain while trying to catch interesting scenes.

Hi Izzet,

Going back in time to find this very well composed scene.

The off-centered subjects in stairs are balanced with the side of the pagoda. The umbrellas are a very nice detail.

Adamların şemsiyelerin zıt yönü ve merdivenlerin ıslak dokusu bizi adeta ileriye doğru çekiyor.Mimari dokuyla grafizm birleşince nefis bir mahsül ortaya çıkmış.

Nice composition, well organised with the walls directing the view on the 2 priests. With their clothes contrasting with the dark grey surroundings, we can't miss them. Good comment, to explain in which conditions it has been taken, and congratulations to take pictures in such a way

interesting POV from the left, making a wel balanced composition with the two people on the bottom right and the perspective to upstairs

You did it again. This is a marvelous work... but at the same time it is an old picture... but if you would say "I made it yesterday" we would believe you.
