Photographer's Note

This photograph will be taken in the promenade of the mouth of a river of the Kitakami river in the autumn of two years ago. I came out of the hotel in the early morning, and was walking along the sidewalk which faced the Kitakami river towards the Pacific entrance slowly on that day. Although it had been past 7:00 a.m. of a morning, the external world was covered with fog and it was still gloomy in it. In the river along a sidewalk, it was at anchor so that many fishing boats might sleep. When my eyes were turned to the opposite shore with the walk, a angler was able to build thread with the breakwater which exists in the middle. As the fish was caught, he diverted a little center of gravity back, and had pulled the fishing rod. The pole is bending gently, and a fish appeared. I turned the camera to the photographic subject and cut the shutter in a hurry. Seeing such spectacles rarely meets in daily life for me.
