Photographer's Note
Swaddee Krub Everybody,
2nd day in peaceful Luang Prabang,I spent time in the morning and afternoon walk walk walk tries to know this town( easier way to touch the people and atmosphere). Until,Late afternoon that I'd intend to capture the light in this time of day.I don't know much about direction of light in this time in wat xieng thong,Until I entered(entrance fee 20000kip)this place from Kounxoa rd.I entered with the sun in my back and this is my first glance of the carriage house.
For this shot,I surprise by the golden light that full face to the golden wall of the house and contrast to the shade of foreground building.I tried to capture the feeling of my glimpse to this shot to present to you all :-).
For post process,Firstly I croped then use curve a little bit to composition and adjust contrast. Secondly,I duplicat layer to split sky layer and use level tool to adjust the brightness for sky area.Thirdly,I use shadow/hight light and hue/saturation tool to adjust the light and color for background layer. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

Hi patshoo, the way the sunlight plays with this is lovely. I love the way you have handled the light and the architectural features of this image. Nice job indeed.

Hi patshoo
I like the symmetry & overlay of the 2 buildings. Good shadow detail & an excellent juxtapositioning, between the plain fg, & ornate bg. Tfs!

Hello Patshoo,
very nice shot and even more the angle of view of the Wat Xiang Thong temple in Luang Prabang.I visited this place last March, and i can say that is very impressive indeed. Really the light that falls in this facade, bring out the details of the temple.Well done.

Swaddee Krub Patshoo,
You made a very attractive graphic arrangement with the elegant and characteristic shapes of the architecture, with the help of the game of light and shadow that you managed very cleverly. I find the title very appropriate because I can really have the feeling of "first glance". A simple, but very achieved photo!
Regards, José.

Hi Patshoo,
Wonderful lines and intricate details seen in the lovely vertical presentation that is seen in brilliant light that brings out excellent sharpness.
The yellow temple works well with the vivid blue sky.

If you please, could you remove my Moon shot from the theme "Architecture of Luang Prabang"? It was added by mistake. Thanks.
