Photographer's Note
Small villages, perhaps with no more that 25 hours, each... it's a community affair...

Hi Caleb
I like the grandma a lot and I find you have caught her expression very well, with a good exposure that shows us, both her deep wrinkles and the clarity of her eyes. I am very much less interested by the kid behind, mainly because I find the light, coming from the right, too strong. I would have appreciated a closer re-framing on her benevolent face.
Bravo

Grandma looks happy to pose for you, the little one not so sure. Nicely captured against the wooden backdrop

Hi Caleb
A nice double portrait of this old woman and the kid with this background in bamboo. I like her clothes and jewels and how her look seems proud, happy and a bit sad in the same time.
All the best for 2012

Beautiful Caleb! Such a natural feel to this one as always, and with wonderful soft light and spot on focus. Perfectly framed with the background of the hut! I just returned from Muang Sing, Laos. Kyaing Tung appears on the map as due west of there and perhaps no more than a 4 or 5 hour drive by curvy road....if there were a road. Warm regards,
Steve
