When I stayed at Inle lake, I visited several local markets those are held each 5 days. This market is in Nam pan village. She belongs to Pa Oo tribe, that is the 2nd majority in Myanmar.

By making this B&W you make the market view look less flattering and actually more genuine. The woman's inquisitive and maybe suspicious look at you would have been less convincing in colours. I like this.

A beautiful black-and-white portrait of this fragile woman who looks rather anxious. Afraid of the photographer or the rain she expects or she is afraid that her umbrella will blow away.
